It is official the new HTC Evo 4G smartphone (aka Supersonic or Incredible) and will be available exclusively at Sprint in the US which is the only operator to have a 4G network (LTE / WiMAX). This smartphone features an AMOLED capacitive multitouch screen of 4.3 inches (resolution of 800 x 480 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1Ghz with 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth, a 8-megapixel camera on the back with video recording in 720p (1280 x 720 pixels), a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, a microSD slot, an HDMI output, a battery of 1500 mAh and GPS, all under Android 2.1 with HTC Sense. No price was announced.

It was at CTIA that Samsung has unveiled its new Android smartphone: the Galaxy S. The 3G+ mobile phone has a Samsung ARM Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1Ghz with 1GB of RAM, a touchscreen Super AMOLED 4-inch display (800 x 480 pixels), a storage capacity of 8GB or 16GB, a microSD slot, an 5-megapixel camera with video recording in 720p at 30fps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, an accelerometer, aGPS and a battery of 1500 mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S smartphone runs under Android 2.1 with TouchWiz interface and the Samsung Hub application. Its dimensions are 12.2 x 6.4 x 1.0 cm for 118g. No price or date announced.

The Vizit digital photo frame has an ultra-thin screen that allows you to hang on the wall. You can send a photo via email to the address of the photo frame and it will be displayed on the screen. Otherwise, you can always touch the screen to share, reply to, forward, mark and remove any image of the picture frame. Officially available at AT&T, it will use the 3G network operator to send and receive photos, priced at $279.99 with a basic photo package of $5.99 per month.

Trywin in Japan unveiled its DTN-X750 GPS which will cost a price around €325 after conversion. It has an LCD touchscreen 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 4GB of internal memory, a 1Seg TV tuner, a 1W mono speaker, and compatibility with various video and audio files. Its internal memory can be increased through microSDHC cards. The endurance of the lithium battery is only 1.5h.

Samsung has released a brand new projector, named M250. This model includes a slight brightness of 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 500:1, XGA native resolution at 1024 x 768 pixels, and a lamp life of 5000 hours. The only drawback is fan noise which is 36dB, but it should not be a problem if you watch an action movie. You’ll find an HDMI port, one VGA and composite connection. The price is not known yet.

JXD introduced the A10 portable media player which has a 4.3-inch display (resolution of 800 × 480 pixels), an FM tuner, an ebook reader, a dictaphone, a video output (720p/1080i), while managing the H.264. It can also read other format including MKV, AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, MPG, DAT, VOB, FLV, MP3, WM, AAPE, FLAC, WAV and AAC.

New MID from Dawa: the D7, with a touchscreen 7-inch display having the ability to manage multitouch, a Telechips 8901 processor clocked at 720MHz, 256MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSDHC slot, an integrated GPS, the Wi-Fi, 3G and an HDMI output. The Dawa D7 MID can play videos in 1080p.
