25 years ago, March 15, 1985, the first domain name was registered, it is symbolics.com! A company that marketed computers specially designed to run the Lisp programming language. But this was not the rush for domain names that year, or even the next, since only five names were filed in 1985 against 54 in 1986. Today, there are several hundreds of thousands of domain names which are registered or renewed a month! Opera 10.50 available for download, Mac and Linux versions announced

Self-proclaimed “fastest Web browser in the world”, Opera offers this version with a brand new interface, a private browsing mode, compatibility with existing Aero Glass, Aero Peek and Jump Lists technologies (Vista and 7 only).
Note that the browser is available for Windows in 42 languages, and that Mac and Linux versions should no longer delay to be available too. You can download the the final version of the Web browser here.
