Double Anti-Spy Professional 1.4 is a software uses antimalware engines from Sunbelt Software and Agnitum. In testing, the double-barrel scanner detected most malware. However, the software is also double-big and double-slow, and its user interface has a few concerns. Price: $29.

Thunderbird 3 available

Thunderbird is now available in version 3 final. For those who what is it, Thunderbird is a free email software developed by the Mozilla Foundation.

According to Mozilla, 2,000 improvements have been implemented on this new version including a number which come directly from the Firefox web browser. For my part, I tried Thunderbird before the beginning of the drop for Mail on Mac OS X and Outlook on Windows, but this new version could convince me to redo a test. Another beta version for Firefox 3.6

The final version of Firefox 3.6 is expected for early next year, but meanwhile, the Mozilla Foundation goes to the fourth beta version that fixes 140 bugs from the previous version.

Although Firefox 3.6 has not yet emerged, we’ve already started talking about Firefox 3.7 because this version should support hardware acceleration, but could also see the user interface be redesigned.

Version 3 includes a viewer, browser and organizer for advanced editing and steps online.
