JXD introduced the A10 portable media player which has a 4.3-inch display (resolution of 800 × 480 pixels), an FM tuner, an ebook reader, a dictaphone, a video output (720p/1080i), while managing the H.264. It can also read other format including MKV, AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, MPG, DAT, VOB, FLV, MP3, WM, AAPE, FLAC, WAV and AAC.
Hallods has released the eT4300 HD portable media player in Japan. This PMP offers a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a 720p video output, and an 8GB of internal storage. The storage space is also upgradable by using an SD/SDHC memory card. The portable media player has a battery that provides up to 3 hours of video playback or 13 hours of audio playback. Additionally, the device is compatible with most of famous multimedia files including RMVB, AVI, FLV (H.264/H263), MOV, MP4(H.264), ASF, MPEG, MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC. It measures 72 x 111 x 15mm and weighs 150g.
The MSI MT-V660 is available, the PMP that looks like quite the Zune HD with its design and provides a touchscreen HVGA 3.2-inch display (resolution of 480 x 320 pixels), with a storage capacity of 4GB, a 720p TV output, a microphone, an FM tuner and compatibility with AVI, MKV, RMVB, MPG, DAT, VOB, FLV, MOV, MP4, MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, WAV, AAC , JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG formats. Its battery life is about 3-4 hours in video and 18 hours in audio, all for a price of 80 euros.
Another PMP for ICOO, the E900P compatible with videos encoded in 1080p, and with a 5-inch screen (resolution of 800 × 480 pixels), a USB OTG (On-The-Go) port and a YPbPr port (Needless to say we would have preferred an HDMI port, this time for absent subscribers).
Apart from that, the PMP is able to read MKV, MOV, RMVB, RM, AVI, PMP, DAT, FLV, VOB, MP4, MPG, 3GP, TXT formats and supports H.264. It also has a dictaphone. No price and release date announced.
Itoos unveiled its latest PMP, the M3HD, which is compatible with video in 720p and 1080i, and has an HDMI output, 3.6-inch screen, an FM tuner, a TV output and supposed to have a battery life of 5 hours in video playback and 20 hours in audio playback.
The portable media player is compatible with MKV, AVI, RM, RMVB, VOB, DAT formats, and supports H.264. No price or release date to announce unfortunately.
Here are the new Cube H700HDS and H700HDH, two portable media players offering the respective resolutions of 480 x 272 and 800 x 480 pixels, 1080i HDMI output, a minimum storage capacity of 4GB, a microSD slot, USB OTG port, compatibility with RMVB, RM, AVI, WMV, FLV, MKV, DAT, MPG, MP4, MOV, PMP, VOB, H.264 / H.263, MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC, OGG, DTS.
ONDA has just released its Vi20 for Asia, a HD PMP with touchscreen 5-inch display (resolution of 800 x 480 pixels), an FM tuner with a storage capacity of 8GB, microSD port , a USB host port, an HD TV output and compatibility with RM/RMVB, AVI, MKV (H.264), MOV, FLV, MPG, VOB, MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC. No price was announced.
Teclast released a new portable media player that is based on the Telechips TCC8901 chipset, it can handle the full HD video resolution and video file formats including MJPEG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 SP, MPEG-4 ASP, MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), DivX, H.263, WMV9, VC-1 and RV. The PMP has a screen of 4.3 inches at a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels.
Teclast offers the C430H and C430TH portable media players, and the latter has a 800 x 480 display. The features include support for AVI, RM, RMVB, FLV, WMV, MPG, 3GP, VOB, DAT, MP3, WMA, FLAC and ACC files, a screen of 4.3 inches, a storage space of 4GB and 8GB. With so many portable media players on the market, do you think that the Apple iPod will continue to reign supreme?
The Onn V8HD portable media player has a 4.3-inch display, support for popular formats, ebook compatibility (with the TXT format, of course), and the ability to browse your photo collection. If the 8GB of internal memory is not sufficient, there is always a microSD slot. Its 2000 mAh battery has an endurance of 10 hours for video and 35 hours of music non-stop. The price is not known yet.
