Specifications of the BlackBerry Pearl 9100

Another picture of the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 has appeared recently and is accompanied by some technical specifications. From the photo, it’s obvious that the smartphone will offer a SureType QWERTY keyboard, where they put two letters on one button. In addition, the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 should include a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS. Of course, none of these specifications are not official, so there’s always a possibility that this may change.

HTC Evo 4G smartphone

It is official the new HTC Evo 4G smartphone (aka Supersonic or Incredible) and will be available exclusively at Sprint in the US which is the only operator to have a 4G network (LTE / WiMAX). This smartphone features an AMOLED capacitive multitouch screen of 4.3 inches (resolution of 800 x 480 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1Ghz with 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth, a 8-megapixel camera on the back with video recording in 720p (1280 x 720 pixels), a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, a microSD slot, an HDMI output, a battery of 1500 mAh and GPS, all under Android 2.1 with HTC Sense. No price was announced.

Samsung unveiled Galaxy S smartphone under Android

It was at CTIA that Samsung has unveiled its new Android smartphone: the Galaxy S. The 3G+ mobile phone has a Samsung ARM Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1Ghz with 1GB of RAM, a touchscreen Super AMOLED 4-inch display (800 x 480 pixels), a storage capacity of 8GB or 16GB, a microSD slot, an 5-megapixel camera with video recording in 720p at 30fps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, an accelerometer, aGPS and a battery of 1500 mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S smartphone runs under Android 2.1 with TouchWiz interface and the Samsung Hub application. Its dimensions are 12.2 x 6.4 x 1.0 cm for 118g. No price or date announced.

Who would have thought that myTouch 3G Fender edition by T-Mobile was so popular that it was sold out shortly after its release? Then, T-Mobile has relaunched the smartphone, but there is still no confirmation on the price or exact date.

Revealed a month ago, the Samsung Wave smartphone (or S8500), with a Super AMOLED screen and Bada OS shown recently on the German version of Amazon site, at a price of €429. By looking well at the other German retailers, we can even find the smartphone at €400.

Kyocera announced its Zio M6000 smartphone under Android

Kyocera has officially announced its Zio M6000 smartphone under Android, which “reveals the human side of Android”. The Android smartphone uses CDMA EV-Do Rev. A, and supports network operators such as Sprint and Verizon Wireless. Pricing and availability are not known yet, but the features include:

  • Touchscreen 3.5-inch WVGA display
  • Trackball
  • 3.2-megapixel camera
  • Google Maps
  • Widgets
  • 256MB of internal memory
  • Up to 32GB microSD

Motorola i1 mobile phone

Motorola has finally unveiled its i1 (ex-Opus One), having the distinction of being the first Push-To-Talk mobile phone. Understand that it will actually use the Nextel Direct Connect network of the operator Sprint to allow its users to use the mobile phone like a walkie talkie. Besides that, the Motorola i1 smartphone has a touchscreen HVGA 3.1-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera (with flash), a microSD slot, Bluetooth, Opera Mobile Mini and Swype technology.

Samsung Diva S7070 Luxury Gold edition

The Samsung Diva S7070 smartphone arrives soon in Luxury Gold edition. Although we do not know if it’s real gold, the Samsung Diva S7070 appears for the female population, and it has similar hardware specifications than its little brother with the classic look: Touchscreen 2.8-inch display (QVGA, 16 million colors), TouchWiz touch interface, accelerometer, integrating social networking, a 3.2-megapixel camera and an original back cover.
