New MID from Dawa: the D7, with a touchscreen 7-inch display having the ability to manage multitouch, a Telechips 8901 processor clocked at 720MHz, 256MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSDHC slot, an integrated GPS, the Wi-Fi, 3G and an HDMI output. The Dawa D7 MID can play videos in 1080p.

Witspad W8 MID introduced

The Chinese manufacturer Witspad has unveiled the W8, a MID which is like a smartphone with the Maemo OS, a Marvell PXA 320 processor clocked at 806MHz, a touchscreen 4.3-inch display, 128MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM, a 3.2-megapixel sensor, a 3.5mm jack, a GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, all for a price around $470.

A touchscreen tablet under Android by HiVision

HiVision took advantage of the CeBIT 2010 to introduce the SpeedPad, a touchscreen tablet under Android carrying a resistive touchscreen 7-inch display (resolution of 800 × 480 pixels), 2GB of storage (via SD card), 256MB of RAM, Wi-Fi b/g, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, USB ports and a 4200mAh battery. Price: $100.

Cowon W2 MID

The Korean brand Cowon made official the release of its appointed W2 MID. The device has a touchscreen 4.8-inch display (1024 X 600 pixels), an Intel Atom Z510 processor at 1.33GHz, with a capacity of 60GB or 80GB, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Wi-Fi, two USB ports, TV output, a battery life of 230 hours in standby and 10 hours in use, and runs under Windows 7. Its dimensions are 143.6 x 88.1 x 27.5mm for 450g and will be available soon in Korea from a price of 370 euros.

Preview at CES, of the M5, a MID under Android 1.5 which is equipped with a HDMI TV output, a touchscreen 5-inch display, Wi-Fi, and able of playing videos in 720p. No further information.

Viliv X70 EX UMPC under Windows 7

Here is a competitor of the new Cowon W2, it is the Viliv X70 EX. The UMPC we already know, now running an Intel Atom Z520 processor (1.33 GHz), 1GB of RAM, SSD of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB and offers Wi-Fi, 3G, a touchscreen WSVGA 7-inch display (1024 × 600 pixels), GPS, Bluetooth, a battery life of up to 5.5 hours, all under Windows 7. No price was announced.

The Viliv N5 presented at CES a new MID that runs under Windows 7, which features a touchscreen 4.8-inch display (1024 × 600 pixels), an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, a 32GB SSD , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, optical trackpad, microSD slot, a full keyboard, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a battery life of 5 hours. Its dimensions are 172 x 86 x 25mm for 399g. No price announced.

RAmos W7 MID under Android

RAmos unveiled its mobile internet device (MID), the W7, which is running under Android 1.5 operating system of Google. This MID features the Wi-Fi and 3G (optional) connectivities. It boasts a 4.8-inch capacitive touchscreeen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is compatible with MP3, WMA, MKV, AVI, VOB, MPG, FLV and RMVB files, and also Adobe Flash.

Onkyo BX407A4 UMPC

Onkyo released a new UMPC, the BX407A4, for the Japanese market. The ultra mobile PC features a 4.8-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z515 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM and an Intel GMA 500 graphics card. The UMPC also includes 32GB of SSD, a microSD/SDHC slot, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and runs under Windows XP.
